3001-02-08 1400 : The Rookies : Plenswic Main Sewer

• Jimothy casted mage hand and lowered the lantern down the ladder
• Amber and Runemark IV climbed 100ft down the ladder
• Jimothy casted Spider Climb on Albert and he climbed down with Jimothy following
• Fought a Carrion Crawler, another one fell from the ceiling, and both player characters were felled, they all failed their death saves
• Runemark IV and Albert carried them out and they are picked up by GlugGlugTshhhh and taken back to Zyntium
• At Zyntium they see Tetrapturus with Hill Giants and cages
• GlugGlug does another circuit of Plenswic while they go back to The Holy Elf
• Rookies tell Nebulus about their mission
  • He is impressed with the map that Jimothy drew

• After making good time sailing south, they are attacked by St Elmo’s Fire in the rigging
  • A crewmember is killed (and later revived), Simone Narwa
  • With a massive sneak attack from Aramil and Falkrunn’s turning abilities they manage to defeat them

3001-02-11 1200 : The Party : The Holy Elf

• At The Holy Elf in Zyntium
  • Aramil gave Nebulus the sand for the telescope mirrors
  • Landorn will return to Kwokara and pick up Jan Hammerfist
  • Nebulus tells them about Plenswic Lodespire and the quest to save the clerics

• Ray gives them a manifest and a letter to deliver to Nebulus

• Arrived at Saltmarsh Adventurer’s Rest after killing three goblins on the road
• Argument with another (rude) party in the tavern
• Jimothy tipped Sebastian the Songmaster 5ep, he will buy a new song book with it

• Visited Erlerick and he said return in seven days for the parts
• Observe and try to help with altercation outside the Helm at High Sun with rival party

• Yasmine Warmheart gives them a mission to retrieve the Northill Amphora, is disappointed that she also gave the job to the rival party

• Jimothy & Amber meet Magnus and Zavi Proudmead at the Helm at Highsun they tell them about the politics currently going on at Northill

• Travel to the big hill outside Dreadwood via Saltmarsh
• Used a torch to get Giant Spiders and Wolves to fight each other, fought and killed remaining wolves and took a pelt.
• Ulu skinned wolf keeping pelt and teeth
• Camped on hill, smoked Mayswnend’s pipeweed (Jimothy gets one HP back!)

3000-07-04

• Ambushed Hobgoblins near standing stones near the Dreadwood. Kept one alive and interrogated about the Metal Man inside the mines
• Observed rival party captured by goblins
• Entered the mine, unsuccessfully sneaked past goblin guard who alerted mine of them, Jimothy and Ulu felled by goblins that were killed by Amber

S066 : Retrieving the Amphora

• The Party coax the goblins out of the entrance making them think they have the hobgoblin captured, they kill the goblins on the hill

3000-08-05 1500

• Creep back to the mine.
• Jimothy casts a cantrip to distract the goblins and sneak into the main mine area
• Fight the hobgoblin guards and set the goblins free (Amber shouts “Come on Goblins Rise Up against this oppression”)
• Amber talks dwarvish to the robot and its eyes switched on, party move rocks away from the automaton
• Set the two remaining rival adventurers Aramin and Keledenk and they flee
• Yuliak the shaman is killed by Ulu but she is mortally wounded
• Party give Ulu healing potion
• Snerk and Xikek flee

• The Rookies went back into the mine and killed the giant worm in the mineshaft

• The Rookies fought bandits who were finished off and caught by Mavion of the Wild Flame Alliance
• Samothy meets them outside Red Larch and asks them to bring the Amphora to the back of the pub at night fall.
• Amber orders Robot to guard Amphora, in a copse of trees hidden
• Yasmine is seen talking to a hooded figure in the High Street of Red Larch
  • Samothy gestures for The Party to stay back
  • When asked later on Yasmine says it is a servant of hers
• The Rookies and Ulu go to the fortification HQ
  • Ulu gets promoted to Lieutenant
  • Jimothy and Amber get WFA badges
• The Rookies delivered the amphora to Yasmine’s room and she puts blanket over it

  • Falkrunn buys 5x incense blocks (for 1gp each) from Freddies Latharama
  • Aramil asks SWORDPHASE Fysik about magic weapons she tells him to visit Vardazman’s Vault

• Adventurer’s Rest
  • Mashmad and Grumbletoes have made an amazing chocolate cake
  • Stantflak and Big Nev back in town, report lots of lizard man activity around the farm, otherwise planting okay though the ground has been tough, they have employed local kobolds, lizardmen and goblins to help
  • BIldo passed by and stayed with them in 3001-01-04 one night, he was hunting for certain herbs for his cakes

3001-02-07 : The Party : Kwokara

• NPC Cindel joined the Crew of Ace of Diamonds
• Janice Hommond is staying on Kwokara to study the wildlife
• Jan Hammerfist is staying for a short while to help The Golden One and the rest of the village to rebuild
• The Party have a big leaving party with the Kwok Tribe
• Logray hasn’t had any contact with Qooziekin
• Out from the harbour the coastal reef is glowing which indicates that Qooziekin is nearby

3001-02-08

• The Party get some sand from the beach
• Left history books with Logray to give to Qooziekin
• Isla Sanclare has small eruption as The Ace of Diamonds departs for Zyntium

3001-02-06 : The Rookies : Zyntium City

• The Rookies trail Asdor through Zyntium City in the festival
  • Leave Albert at The Holy Elf
  • Jimothy deduces that Asdor’s staff is probably magical
  • The Rookies see Asdor visit Zedith of Zyntium’s stall, a giant is there and he leaves while he is there, soon after Navuk Mapiers arrives with his wagon
  • Asdor enters the house with strange runes over the door in Zyntium outskirts
  • The Rookies return to The Holy Elf and tell Nebulus what they have discovered
• Nebulus sends The Rookies to the The Halls of Knowledge to do some research for him
  • They use paper and quill to note down the runes outside the library, they think these are similar to the ones over the door that Asdor went into. Nebulus later confirms that these are Runes of the Numiscenti
  • The Rookies borrow the following books:

S107 : Scouting Plenswic Western Docks

3001-02-06 : The Rookies : Zyntium City

• Nebulus leaves The Rookies in charge of the mission, they decide to send the following groups in order:
  • Zenplen Bandwigon, Brother Foldor, Siegfried to Plenswic Main Harbour
  • Jampa, Namdak, Danpo to LOC Grange Warehouse
  • Torthred and Albert accompany The Rookies to The Shark’s Fin Pub

3001-02-07 : The Rookies : Plenswic City

• At 3am Zyntium experiences an Earthquake
• In the morning NPC Evindal gives the groups some provisions to take with them
• They make their way to the Zyntium Docks
  • Torthred doesn’t like the earthquake and talks to Amber about it. Jimothy proposes GlugGlugTshhhh suggests building sea defences to the harbour master
  • As they approach Plenswic City they see that the buildings seem to be built with strange materials and have weird geometries
  • Amber gives speeches to each party as they leave the Electrophorus (Keelboat)
    • The first to Zenplen et al isn’t great (6)
    • The second (nat 20) inspires the Xymboche monks using songs and stories that they have shared in the monastery gardens in the past
  • The Rookies etc explore The Shark’s Fin Pub
    • Kill zombies in the basement and search barrels
      • Zombies keep respawning (one replaces its head)
      • They heal up
    • Kill bat swarm at top of stairs
    • In the bar Albert drills the till, inside they find:
      • 90gp (Heads : Cog, Tails : Compass & Hammer)
      • 400spp
    • After looking at the pool table they go to the gambling room
      • Kill two giant spiders
      • Amber gains one vial of spider venom
      • Take ten packs of cards (mint condition)
    • Take a short rest
  • They cross Revello Drive and walk to LOC Grange Square Plenswic
    • See the statue of Thorin Grainsong
    • Amber flicks a gold piece in the fountain and makes a wish
    • They all drink from the fountain for 3 HP
    • They investigate the Newspaper stands and read one that says “MAYOR SAYS: GET OUT!”
    • They try to prise black vines from the sign over the staircase going down under the road. The vines attack and they flee east

• Found two scraps of map while walking down road to Plenswic Gardens
• Sky is getting darker, even at midday
• Investigated PMET Gardens Station
  • Left Albert at the top of the stairs
  • Investigated one platform (with Angels & Demons mosaics)
  • Fought shadow
  • Saw another partial map of the PMET on the wall
  • Saw Cackling Nurse with cart of blood vials in the foyer
  • Ran out of station followed by blast of foul air
• Investigated cylindrical access with ladder leading down with similar stench
• Carried on towards the domed building
  • Ornate fountain, Amber made a wish, some drank from it
  • Hydra Statue
  • Cypress Emberleaf statue
• Amber entered Rangers hut very stealthily
  • Amber gained from the hut:

S109 : Plenswic Observatory

Session Date: 2025.01.05 1400

3001-02-07 2130 : The Rookies : Plenswic Observatory and Research Outpost

• Left the Ranger’s hut
• Amber scouted ahead using her expert stealth, alerting the rest to the giant Ant’s nest on the way, Albert could walk straight past on the path, the others went around
• They tried to take Albert through the wooded area but he got bogged down so they continued the long way around to the Plenswic Observatory and Research Outpost
• Amber sees the Plenswic Cursed Vines and the Rupert Giles Vampire Spawn climbing up the building
• After failed rolls from Jimothy and Albert he Rupert sees them and climbs onto the roof
• Jimothy casts Detect Magic and see that the hilt of the sword in the different vine is not magic. Amber tried to retrieve the sword but the vine lashes out and grapples her but she breaks free and runs into the building
• They explore the building listening at doors
  • In the laboratory they find:
    • Strange magic gem box (mysterious magic school)
    • Box of screws and other mysterious item
  • In the common room
    • Albert drills vines off the table and they find a scroll box (Amber swiped it but got hit by a black vine spike)
    • Scroll of Locate Object
  • In the storage room they find the trapdoor and go down it leaving Albert upstairs
    • They go along the corridor and defeat an Ochre Jelly (Jimothy uses Thunderwave spell)
    • They find themselves in the utility cupboard and then go out into PMET Observatory Station
    • They hear a disembodied voice wailing “Mind the Doors”
    • They go back into the Observatory
  • After some bumbling getting Albert up the stairs they explore the bedrooms, and hear voices in one of the rooms talking about capturing the cleric
  • On the roof they defeat two giant bats but Torthred is captured by two Vampire Spawn, Rupert Giles, and Einstein, they take him away through the black vines which are encroaching on the build up the walls
  • They explore the telescope
    • Jimothy (nat. 20) sketches a 100% accurate drawing of the turntable that the telescope sits on
    • They find blueprints and scrolls:
      • 2 x Gust of wind
      • Telescope blueprints
      • Telescope operating manual
  • They explore the study and the library
    • Collected the broken astrolabe
    • Collected spellbook containing:
      • Unseen Servant
      • Dark vision
    • Collected scrolls:

    • Found a library automaton (that can understand the beeps of Albert) and its operating manual

S110 : Plenswic Escape

Session Date: 2025.04.08 1400

3001-02-08 1000 : The Rookies : Plenswic Observatory and Research Outpost

• The Rookies talk to the librarian robot Runemark IV
• Runemark IV is nervous when not around books, so Amber lends her Field Guide to Beasts and Flora
• Runemark IV tells the party that the vampires are eating some holy men and selling the rest
• The Rookies go down to the store room and use a web to drop Albert down to the floor safely
• Amber takes a mop and Jimothy takes a broom as improvised stakes
• They venture down the tunnels to Campus Station
• When a torch flickers out. Jimothy lights a new lamp and sees in the periphery of his dark vision and the lamp a ghostly train guard in uniform who is crying “mind the gap”. They defeat the banshee and Amber delivers the killing blow
• Amber picks up her arrows and she finds a Kraken Amulet
• The Rookies reach Campus station and enhance their maps
• Amber gets Albert to smash the till at the station and Amber takes the money
• They also find:
  • Newspaper: Plague hits Xymboche
  • Newspaper: PMET “Beacon of Urban Wisdom” says Eldor
• They find a Top Hat in the lost property room which they give to Albert

3001-02-08 1200 : The Rookies : Plenswic University Campus

• They explore the Campus above ground but there are still lots of black vines preventing travel, they see the statues at the University and Old Albert
• They find an empty jar of holy water with a kraken insignia on it
• The see Buffy vampire spawn on the roof of a campus building, watching them
• They return to the tunnels and walk to Gardens station defeating three skeletons on the way

3001-02-08 1400 : The Rookies : Main Sewer Access Plenswic

• Emerge from Gardens station, run to the sewer entrance, Albert took damage from the vines
• End of the session, at the top of the ladder down to the sewers
