S113 : Exploring the Lodespire
Session Date: 2025.03.05 1400
### 3001-02-12 : The Party : Plenswic Lodespire
- Closed front door with iron spikes
- In the guard room Ovak deduces that equipment was damaged on purpose
- Falkrunn does mass cure wounds
- Found the screws and the wires and the Multimeter and gave to Nebulus
- Found scroll of receipts and two Potions of Healing
- In the Control Room they realise that moving causes sparks, Emalas uses dexterity and Nebulus uses Mage Hand to investigate the book on the desk and start the power up using strength (lever) and intelligence (control panel)
- Three vampire spawn burst into the room and attack, Giles, Buffy and Einstein
- Giles uses his magic staff to dazzle
- Buffy escapes upstairs, Giles and Einstein are defeated and beheaded; turning to dust
- They loot Giles:

- Falkrunn realises that ¾ of the panels are new, the rest are damaged
- In collapsed room they find:

- Nebulus stays with the controls and the party ascends to the maintenance bay, Emalas and Aramil use acrobatics to get up and throw a rope down to Ovak and Falkrunn (who hear a ghostly voice shouting in draconic)

- After repeated attempts they finally get into the Thought Locker and retrieve:

Both Aramil and Emalas were part of a monastery in the elven forest where they lived, monastery was to an evil god (Nythrendel).
Jevin Malici was a power hungry monk who was evil to the other members of the monastery, and had powerful mind effects on the monks (this is why Emalas’ psychic damage reminds him of the leader of his monastery).
Aramil and Emalas were good friends because they both disagreed with the leader, and while Emalas was good at being a monk, Aramil didn’t feel like it was right. Aramil escaped the monastery to try his hand at being a charlatan rogue, while Emalas remained at the monastery to build his basic skills as a monk whilst secretly disregarding the teachings of the evil leader.
As soon as Emalas felt he had achieved the basic skills necessary, he escaped and managed to break free from the leader’s psychic influence and sought out Aramil while also looking for a new order to join (now a member of the Monastery of the Godless at Saltmarsh). Then The Sunless Citadel adventure began.

Episode 22a
Session Date: 2021.03.11
- Followed footprints around The Sidhean (the barrow), suffered psychic blows and Aramil found tracks to a hag corpse. Searched corpse but found nothing of interest.
- Entered the Sidhean and explored the rooms leading off the main corridor, searched some and found small amounts of treasure
- Falkrunn picked up silver bottle and released swarm of insects that Emalas dispatched easily
- SIBH Siegfried Bumblehammer identified wine bottles as being worth large sums (100gp each), Falkrunn gave bottles to Siegfried and Ovak
- Ovak poked bone into liquid in the cauldron and touched some of the liquid in the cauldron but the saving throw was a success and she just felt a bit tense
- Aramil and Ovak broke two eggs prompting the wrath of two Carrion Crawlers and a young one that hatched whilst in combat
- Ovak tried to break down the door and Aramil tried to pick the lock but did not succeed
- Aramil tried to reassure the sobbing creature behind the door
- Aramil and Falkrunn stayed inside while Emalas and Ovak searched the body and found the key sewed into the lining of the hag’s cloak. Siegfried stayed by the entrance and screamed at the arrival of the Manticore and Hag.

Episode 22b : Liberating The Sidhean

- The Party defeated the Manticore, Marsha fled (again)
- Searched the body of the dead hag and found a key to the door and rescued Emely Barrowvaire, they find:
- Ovak takes bottle with sliver of fingernail inside
- Falkrun takes a potion of Greater Healing
- Emalas takes bottle with misty liquid inside
- Behind the other door they find a cage of zombie children, Aramil befriends Emely and the other children
- Siegfried cooks up some sweets made from Candyweed and the children revert to their normal selves
- When The Party return to Murkthorne they encounter the mayor Crownat Daziot who they mistake for Ekkzahl and defeat
- Siegfriend takes children back to parents while party defeats Ekkzahl and Marsha Mayfly
- They search the house and take the treasure giving some to the residents, also:
- Aramil finds book Ancient hieroglyphics of the Sacred Temple of Demon Cove
- Ovak takes Bracelet of Protection (requires attunement +1 AC) from the wizard
- PCs stay for two nights to have party with residents, residents gift The Party with three sacks full of Candy Weed, Heart Sage and REF Herb Knot Root
- PCs plan to go back to Seaton via sea route, residents point them to a path that goes south

- The Party along wth Sils Tesent from Murkethorne visit Old Ben Maysmith and he gives them a lift to Seaton in his small ketch The Quicksilver, The Party also see a partly built boat with red and gold trim in his boathouse
- Party donated ancient coins to Seaton Museum
- Zargo (the Museum curator) promises to look through archives and will contact Keledek when he has more information about Tenelia’s Staff (pole)
- Aramil followed the mysterious gnome who was asking about Winston in Saltmarsh, he sees him taking notes about the manholes
- Landorn tells Aramil about the very secretive thieves guild under the streets of Saltmarsh
3000-05-10
- Party arrive at Saltmarsh in the Ace of Diamonds
- Landorn sent Thizenor to tell smugglers party are on an errand
- Delivered Knot Root to Keledek, he has promised to help with the lighthouse in some way as a return of favour
- Landorn will take carpenters from Carpenter’s Guild to get them started on the docks on Abbey Isle
- Frank, Ernest, Borin and Korin (with armour & weapons bought by The Party) go to Red Larch to deliver Candy Root to Northill and bring back Grindol to start work on lighthouse
- Party entered catacombs of Demon Cove and fought Cave Bullywugs
